Dear WBUI2 Community,

I’m excited to share a brand‑new community‑made tool that has been available since January 10th, 2026 and is already helping many of you streamline your workflow: the WBUI2 Editor, created by community member Crixus.

This online editor allows you to import, edit, and export your WBUI2 configuration through a clean and intuitive visual interface — no more manual JSON editing required.

What the WBUI2 Editor offers​

  • Auto‑Save: Your work is automatically saved in your browser.
  • Draft History: Restore older snapshots of your config at any time.
  • Import/Export:
    • Import an existing WBUI2 config
    • Copy your config to clipboard (Ctrl/Cmd+S)
    • Download your config as a JSON file
  • GitHub Integration:
    Sign in with GitHub to import/export configs directly from your repo or Gist.
  • Automatic Markdown Handling: No need to manually insert \n.
  • Easy Tab Organization: Rearrange tab order with a single click.
  • RichColor & TextStyle Tools: Wrap any text with color or style helpers.
  • Undo/Redo: Full undo/redo support with buttons or keyboard shortcuts.
  • Tab Preview: Instantly preview formatted color output.
